An arsonist who set a fire that killed 47 passengers on a bus in southeastern China also died in the blaze, UPI cited officials as saying. Another 34 people were hospitalized after the blaze broke out as the bus traveled along an elevated road in the city of Xiamen, China's official Xinhua news agency reported Saturday. City officials identified the suspect as 59-year-old Chen Shuizong of Xiamen. Police said they found notes in Chen's apartment indicating he had planned the fire to "vent personal grievances."
