The death toll in a fatal bus blaze in south-west China rose to 27 people on Sunday, local media reported. The fire, which engulfed a bus during Friday morning rush hour in the city of Chengdu, initially resulted in 25 deaths and 76 injured. On Sunday, a 69-year-old man and a 17 year-old boy died in hospital as a result of their injuries, the official Xinhua news agency reported. Hu Qinghan, director of the Chengdu Communications Commission, told Xinhua Saturday that sabotage cannot be ruled out as a possible cause of the blaze.
