Vice President of European Parliament Alejo Vidal Quadras received here today a delegation of Majlis Al-Shura. For his part, the Vice President of EU Parliament lauded the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's decision regarding appointment of 30 Saudi women at Majlis Al-Shura. He added that the EU parliament highly appreciated the developmental steps made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a way to enhance its institutions, including Majlis Al-Shura. He also hailed the strong relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the EU, stressing that the Kingdom has a pivotal role at regional and international levels. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest in addition to ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
