Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, received here today a delegation of Conservative Party at the British Parliament led by Head of British Conservative Party Parliamentary Delegation Nicholas Soames. At the outset of the meeting, the Speaker of Majils Al-Shura lauded the strong relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom in all fields in addition to the parliamentary relations between Majlis Al-Shura and the British Parliament. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest between the two countries in addition to the current situations in Syria and the peace process in the Middle East. The meeting was attended by a number of officials. Later, the UK delegation met with a number of members of Majlis Al-Shura. During the meeting, bilateral relations and ways of enhancing parliamentary cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
