Dr. Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, Advisor to the Minister of Interior, received Commissioner General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Filippo Grandi and Head of Coordination of the Office of the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process John Clarke. During the meeting, they lauded the Kingdom's humanitarian and relief efforts under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud through the Saudi Relief Committee under the supervision of Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior. They also hailed the existing cooperation between the UN humanitarian organizations and the Saudi Relief Committee. For his part, Dr. Al-Harthi briefed the UN delegation on the Saudi Relief Committee's projects and programs provided to the Palestinians, including restoration of residential buildings and distribution of medicines and medical supplies to the Palestinian refugees in coordination with the UN humanitarian agencies.
