Germany has called on the European Union to declare the Lebanese group Hezbollah, or its military arm at the least, a terrorist organization, dpa reported. "This German stance is based on an increasingly clear set of facts and on progress by Cypriot authorities in investigating terrorist activity in Cyprus," said German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle from Jordan, where he is attending a Friends of Syria meeting. "I am asking for the necessary discussions within the EU to be quickly brought to a conclusion," he said.
