In the presence of Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare, who is also Chairman of Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee and Member of Peace and Sport Organization, the activities of Peace and Sports Forum were opened here this evening. The opening of the event, which was organized by the Sports and Peace Organization in collaboration with Dubai Sports Council, was also attended by a number of dignitaries in the fields of politics, sports, trade and finance. Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz delivered the Kingdom' speech before the forum in which he expressed his happiness to attend its activities as an important gathering for peace and sports. He said "Culture of maintaining, promoting and strengthening peace is attributes characterized the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the prudent leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.", noting that Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, is keen on its commitment to stand by efforts to promote world peace. The Kingdom supports peace through sports by word and deed emanating from its firm belief that peace will bring prosperity and security to human societies, Prince Nawaf asserted in the Kingdom' speech.
