At least 18 people died when two buses collided head-on Wednesday in the Nigerian capital Abuja, the country's news agency said. According to dpa, nine others sustained serious injuries, a spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) told the News Agency of Nigeria. The accident happened along the Kwali-Gwagwalada road early on Wednesday, when a public bus lost control and rammed into another bus travelling in the opposite direction. All but one of the 18 passengers of the first bus, including the driver, died on the spot.
