At least nine people including three children were killed and 18 others injured in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a truck in Pakistan's Punjab province Thursday, police said. The accident took place near Kacha-kho area of Khanewal district in south of Punjab. The bus was going to Multan from Lahore while the truck was coming from the opposite direction. The truck rammed into the bus while trying to overtake another vehicle, police said. Five passengers died on the spot while four others succumbed to their injuries in district hospital Khanewal. Some injured persons admitted in the Nishter Hospital Multan.
