The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Project to Assist Pakistan has announced the completion and delivery of 64 water projects at cost of $5. 774 million in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province and the South of Pakistan Region. The move follows the directives by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to support the water sector in the regions and poor areas in Pakistan. A statement of the Project Administration said the beneficiaries of this project are 44 villages in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and 20 other villages in the South of Waziristan, according to a report of the UAE news agency "WAM."
