AlQa'dah 10, 1432, Oct 8, 2011, SPA - The United Arab Emirates' ambassador to Pakistan Eissa Abdullah Al Basha Al Naimi met here yesterday with Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik and discussed with him a host of security and legal issues. For his part, Malik asserted Pakistan's interest in following regional and international conferences the UAE hosts as regards home security and drugs-combating, the UAE news agency "WAM" reported. The ambassador also met on Friday with Pakistan's Minister of Water & Power Syed Naveed Qamar. Qamar, in remarks at the meeting, said the projects which are run by the UAE in Pakistan reflect the deep-rooted historical relations and the interest of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in rapidly responding to humanitarian pleas to support the people of Pakistan in all circumstances. The ambassador reiterated the interest of the United Arab Emirates in furthering relations with Pakistan in all spheres.
