Crown Prince Salman Chairs 39th Meeting of Research and Studies Center's Council

Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense, Chairman of Board of Directors of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives and Chairman of Supervisory Council of Research and Studies Center of Madinah, chaired here today the 39th meeting of the Council.
The meeting was attended by Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah region and the Council's Deputy Chairman; Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chief of the Court of the Crown Prince and His Special Adviser; and members of the Council.
At the outset of the meeting, the Council's members expressed their thanks to and appreciation of the Crown Prince for patronizing the ceremony of the selection of Madinah as the Capital of Islamic Culture for 1434 AH / 2013 AD, and the positive and long-term impact of the patronage at local, Arab and Islamic arenas.
The Council approved a number of decisions including among others the implementation of the comprehensive documentary program of the history of Madinah and Center's cooperation with King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives to publish a number of versions and specialized studies on the occasion of the events of Madinah selection as Capital of Islamic Culture for 1434 AH / 2013 AD.
