The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Supreme Commander of All Military Forces, promoted Major General Eid bin Awadh al-Shalawi to the rank of Lt. General and appointed him as the Commander of the Land Forces, a royal order, issued here today, said.
The Minister of Defense has been instructed to carry out the order.
