In Line with the directives of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz, The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Major General Eng. Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Hussain was promoted to the rank of Lt.General and appointed the Commander of the Air Defense Forces.
Prince Khalid bin Sultan, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation for Military Affairs adorned Lieutenant General Engineer Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Hussain with the new rank.
The function was attended by General Salih Al-Mohayya, Chief of the General Staff and senior officials.
