Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the General Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, opened in Riyadh today the Spanish Photo Exhibition titled "From Qurtoba to Kordoba", organized by the Spanish embassy in Riyadh in collaboration with the Arab Home Foundation. The three weeks event was held at King Abdulaizz Historical Museum in Riyadh. In opening remarks, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz said the cultural exchange between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Spain is deep-rooted and with most interest is led at this era by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Spain accommodates a deep-rooted Islamic legacy and histroical memories and facts. He said the Spanish government attaches great attention to the Islamic civilization as one of the components of its country and people. This is appreciatable by the Saudi government, he added. He revealed that the Commission of Tourism and Antiquities is set to open a heritage hotel in old city of Dareya, on the western outskirts of Riyadh.
