Editorials in today's Saudi newspapers highlighted a number of current issues. Okaz newspaper commented on youth participation in National Day festivities and said the directive of Prince Mohammed Bin Naif Bin Abdul-Aziz, the interior minister, for regional governors on the need to involve young people in organizing the National Day celebrations is an extension of the keenness of the leadership on the importance of the participation of young people who are the backbone of the future. It pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz ordered earlier, the convening of an annual conference for students in higher education under his patronage. Commenting on Syria, Al-Riyadh newspaper highlighted the importance of Syria for Iran, but stressed that any change in Syria will come by its people, not others. --MORE
