Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of Finance, stressed that the Arab ministers discussed the agenda of the 3rd Economic and Social Development Summit in order to be forwarded to the Arab leaders on Monday and Tuesday. At the conclusion of the joint meeting of the Arab foreign ministers and ministers of Economic and Social Council in Arab countries, Dr. Al-Assaf said that the Arab leaders are keen for supporting development in the Arab countries, pointing out that the we anticipate, in this regard, that there will be initiatives in the summit. Dr. Al-Assaf added that the agenda will follow-up outcomes and decisions issued by the two previous summits held in Kuwait and Sharm El-Sheikh and discuss action march, including projects of air and land transports, railways and the projects of electricity as well as the obstacles facing a draft free trade area and Customs union. The Arab leaders will discuss these obstacles in order to overcome the difficulties in this regard. --More
