The Arab parliament speaker Ahmed Mohammed Al-Jarwan has hailed the directive of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, appointing 30 women as members of the new Shura Council. In a statement, Al-Jarwan stressed the importance of this step, noting that the decision is identical with Arab Parliament terms which was approved by the Arab summit, emphasizing the importance of women's representation in Arab parliaments.
