Seven people, including four foreigners, were killed Friday in a fire that razed a budget hotel in the Philippines, dpa quoted police as saying. The fire broke out before dawn at the Dryden Hotel in Olongapo City, 80 kilometres north of Manila, police Superintendent Jose Hidalgo said. Three Americans, a South Korean and two Filipino women were among the victims, he said. The seventh victim's identity was still being confirmed, he added. The two-storey hotel had been operating for 20 years. It had 14 rooms, according to the tourism department.
