Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued directives to the Ministry of Finance to provide urgent relief assistance in the amount of $10 million for the displaced Syrians in Jordan after he was briefed on their sufferings amid harsh winter circumstances in the region. The first batch of assistance aid which included sheets, blankets, mattresses and other supplies have been sent last night and expected to arrive later today. This came in a statement by the Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, pointing out that this aid comes as support from the Saudi People's Committee to provide relief assistance to the displaced Syrians.
