the Saudi-based International Islamic Relief Organization IIRO has spent an amount of 8,950,000 Saudi Riyals as a relief assistance to the Gazans who are suffering from the continuous brutal Israeli war crimes. IIRO has Initiated several programs to ensure relief assistance to the victims there, and in coordination with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization and the UN Relief, Works Agency for refugees / UNRWA / and the regional office of WHO. The first batch of the releif assistance includes 44 items of medical supplies, said Dr. Adnan Al-Basha, the secretary general of IIRO. Beside its contribution to UNRWA with an amount of 3.750.000 SR, IIRO is ready to contribute with a similar amount for financing the project of establishing a field hospital, decided by the International Islamic Council of Dawa'a and Relief, Al Basah added. The organization will carry out its humanitarian duties towards those affected and will provide more of such assistance in the form of food and medical supplies in addition to providing shelter for homeless people who have been under severe and harsh cold winter, he said. Moreover, at the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza, IIRO provided immediate medical supplies worth of 1.250,000 SR to mitigate the suffering of the wounded.
