At least seven people died and 14 others were injured Thursday in a bus-truck collision on a highway in southwestern China's Sichuan province, UPI cited police as saying. Xinhua News agency reported the bus was carrying 18 passengers but it wasn't clear if all the dead were from that vehicle or included anyone from the truck. The accident happened Thursday morning near Meishan city. The report said five people were declared dead at the scene and two died en route to a hospital. The condition or extent of injuries of those who survived wasn't known. Police were investigating the incident.
