Six people in an overloaded car died after the car collided with a truck early Thursday morning insouth China's Guangdong Province, Xinhua reported. The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. near a bus station in Zhanjiang City when the car was crushed by a sand-carrying truck. The car was caught on fire after the collision. Five people in the car died at the scene, according to local traffic police. Rescuers found a passenger who was seriously injured on the backseat, who later died in hospital. Investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
