Dr. Ziyad bin Hamza Abu-Ghararah, Secretary General of the Regional Commission for the Preservation of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden Environment, who led Saudi Arabia's delegation to the high-ranking session for governmental organizations to the 18th Parties of the UN Framework on Climate Change in the Qatari capital of Doha last week, said he has highlighted the biological diversity of the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden environment. In a statement to SPA on the occasion, he said the two waters could be considered an international park for maritime creatures. He also cast light on his organization's efforts to adapt with the climate changes depending on the EbA environmental system as an effective tool using to lessen the negative effects of climate changes.
