Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Barrak, Assistant Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, received here today Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament of Sweden Ulf Home and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Barrak hailed the relations between the two countries in all fields. Then, Dr. Al-Barrak briefed the Swedish official on the history of Majlis Al-Shura, its duties and committees. Meanwhile, the Saudi-Swedish Parliamentary Friendship Committee headed by Dr. Salem bin Ali Al-Qahtani, member of Majlis Al-Shura, held here today a meeting with the Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament of Sweden and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest and reviewed cooperation between the two countries in all fields. The two sides also discussed ways of enhancing cooperation between Majlis Al-Shura and Parliament of Sweden .
