At least 10 civilians, including women and children, were killed in southern Afghanistan Thursday when their minivan hit a roadside bomb, dpa cited an official as saying. The incident in Dehrawud district of Uruzgan province also injured eight people, provincial spokesman Abdullah Himmat told dpa. The passengers were local villagers heading to meet a Hajj pilgrim who had just returned from Makkah, he said.
