Three civilians were killed and four others were injured in two separate roadside bombings on Sunday in southern Afghanistan, police said. "A vehicle hit by a roadside bomb in the Khas Uruzgan district, killing one civilian and injuring two others," said police officer Gulab Khan. According to dpa, the incident took place in Uruzgran province, in southern Afghanistan. He said that, an hour later, a bomb hit another car in Tirinkot, the provincial capital. Two people died and two others were injured. Police blame insurgents for bombings, saying they carry out such attacks "because they are not now able to face security forces."
