AlHijjah 26, 1433, Nov 11, 2012, SPA - At least 11 civilians were killed Sunday in two separate attacks in Afghanistan, officials said. Six people died when a car hit a roadside bomb in the eastern region, police said. "The incident took place in Sabari district of Khost province, killing three men, two women and a newborn baby aboard," provincial police officer Mohammad Yaqoub Barimand said. In a similar attack in southern part of the country, three people were killed and two others injured, provincial spokesman Javed Faisal said. "A minivan en route from Helmand province hit a roadside bomb in Maiwand district of Kandahar, that left three dead and two injured," the Provincial Spokesman was quoted as saying by DPA.
