Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), opened here this evening the Saudi Colors Forum, Saudi Arabia's first tourism-oriented photographical exhibition, organized by the SCTA. Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, and Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman, Governor of Al-Dareya Province, headed attendees at the opening ceremony. In a key address to the gathering at the opening ceremony of the event, which lasts until Thursday at Riyadh International Center for Exhibitions and Conferences, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz reassured the attendees of the health of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, appealing to Allah Almighty to expedite his recovery. SCTA head said Saudi Arabia is rich of marvelous and distinguished sites which could form an excellent subject for artists and a place to visit for tourists. He said today's forum is part of a series of "Discover Your Country" program, addressing Saudi nationals to visit beautiful scenes in their country before going out to shower money on less-beauty places. Preceding the opening ceremony, a prize-giving event on photography of most beautiful natural places in Saudi Arabia was held. Forty winners, including eight females, were chosen by an ad hoc committee. As much as SR320,000 was distributed on them.
