AlHijjah 22, 1433, November 07, 2012, SPA -- King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain received at Al-Bustan palace in Manama today their Royal Highnesses and Excellencies the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States and the GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif Al-Zayani to mark the 125th session of the GCC foreign ministers held in Manama today in preparation for the GCC 33rd summit scheduled for Manama in December. The ministers conveyed to the King of Bahrain the greetings of other leaders of the GCC who wish him good health and the people of Bahrain steady progress and prosperity. At the outset of the meeting, the King of Bahrain welcomed the ministers, expressing appreciation for their good efforts in support of the GCC march, confirming Bahrain's keenness to achieve the aspirations of the GCC peoples for more integrity and cooperation in a way that leads to GCC unity. The King of Bahrain lauded the current political, economic, social and developmental achievements in the GCC countries, wishing the GCC foreign ministers every success. He sent his greetings to the GCC leaders. For their part, the ministers thanked and appreciated the King for his keenness and interest in further promoting the GCC's experience in all fields. They briefed him on the most important issues on their agenda, expressing confidence that the forthcoming summit would constitute a crucial leap in the march of the GCC towards a brighter future.
