Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, voiced gratitude and respect to his GCC counterparts for constantly asking about his health during his illness, stressing his ability to continue supporting the GCC march. Given his turn, GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani extended thanks and respect to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain for hosting the 33rd GCC Summit, lauding his speech in the opening of the Bahraini National Assembly's third session of the third legislative term, wishing the GCC Foreign ministers every success. Dr. Al-Zayani wished the GCC Foreign Ministers every success in achieving the targeted goals. The GCC ministers reviewed issues on the meeting's agenda, pertaining mainly to the political, economic, social, environmental, educational and health fields. They also discussed strategic negotiations between the GCC member states and other countries as well as international blocs, and strategic partnership with each of Jordan and Morocco. The Iranian occupation of the three UAE islands, the Syrian crisis, the situations in Yemen, Palestine and Iraq were also discussed.
