Hijjah 24, 1431, Nov 30, 2010, SPA -- Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace Monday The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Secretary General, Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al Attiyah who is visiting Bahrain as part of a regional tour. The GCC Secretary General informed the King about key issues topping the agenda of the 31st GCC Supreme Council session set to be held in Abu Dhabi early next month. King Hamad lauded the efforts of the GCC Secretary General and his assistants in boosting the organization's march, stressing Bahrain's keenness to further promote it in order to achieve the aspirations of the GCC peoples and ensure more integration, cooperation and coordination among the member states. He also praised political, economic and social achievements of the GCC countries wishing the forthcoming summit every success, according to a report of Bahrain's News Agency (BNA).
