AlHijjah 21, 1433, Nov 6, 2012, SPA -- The 2012 Saudi International Conference on Space and Aviation Technology resumed today its scientific activities. The conference, which is hosted by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology at its headquarters in Riyadh, held this morning a session entitled "programs of space flight." A number of astronauts from the United States, China, and Japan participated in the session. The session was attended by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, its founding member and Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the 25th International Conference of the Association of Space Explorers; President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Suwaiyel; Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed, Vice President of the City for research institutes, and a number of specialists in the field of space and aviation sciences from various countries around the world. The session tackled issues relating to space travel and stations.
