AlHijjah 13, 1433, Oct 29, 2012, SPA - At least 12 people were killed and 35 others injured in Bangladesh Monday when a bus drove off a bridge in the central district of Tangail, police said. Nine died at the scene after the bus drove through the railing and into a ravine in the sub-district of Dhonbari, around 100 kilometers north-east of capital Dhaka, police officer Mizanur Rahman said. Three others succumbed to their injuries at a nearby hospital, Rahman was quoted as saying by DPA.
