AlHijjah 15, 1432, Nov 11, 2011, SPA - At least six people were killed and 30 others injured in a road accident in Bangladesh's northern district of Rangpur on Friday, police said. Five people died at the scene while another succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital after a Dhaka-bound bus overturned in a roadside ditch after hitting a tree near Kaunia, some 260 kilometres from the capital, police officer Mujibur Rahman said. Reckless driving might have caused the accident, he added. The injured were undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
