AlHijjah 8, 1433, Oct 24, 2012, SPA -- More than two million pilgrims who trekked their ways from outside and inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are staying the night in Mina valley, their semi-final leg of their journey which started by the Greeting Circumambulation and ends by ascending or staying in the vicinity of mount Arafat, the site where prophet Mohammed (pbuh) announced in a speech that Arafat is the peak point of Hajj. He/she who missed Arafat has missed Hajj, a well-known rule to Muslims. The government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is graced of serving the guests of God Almighty has in fact mobilized all its might in the service of pilgrims. A marvelous infrastructure to host millions of people on a limited space of land at a limited time was built in billions of Saudi Riyals over the years. Mina is where pilgrims stay one day on their way to Arafat and from two to three days when coming back, Arafat is where they spend from dawn to dusk and Muzdalifah is where they stay a late piece of night after descending from Arafat. The three locations were turned to temporary cities. Except for the white tents which house the temporary white-robe residents, Mina and Arafat were equipped with all urban facilities: water, electricity, meals, water circulation stations, communications, fire extinguishing facilities, security, transportation, civil defense, health and medical facilities, worshipping facilities, media facilities, etc. Reporters of the Saudi Press Agency noted a big number of traffic police assisted by security men along the roads leading to Arafat in anticipation of tomorrow's jam. Not only that, but almost every organization or assigned individual has occupied a piece of land to provide the needed service tomorrow to help a pilgrims achieve his hope of life to attend Arafat and go back home as he was born the day he/she is back.
