More than three millions descended down the valley from Arafat, the peak ritual of Hajj, to Muzdalifah to perform Maghrib and Isha prayers successively, stay the night and collect tiny stones they use to pebble the devils replicas in Mina tomorrow morning, a combined Hajj duty as per traditions of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). However, elders, patients and the disabled are allowed to proceed to Mina past Muzdalifah. Food, water and other supplies were abundantly available throughout the vast valley of Muzdalifah where the pilgrims have a travel break on their way to Mina, site for two to three days of stay called Al-Tashreeq days. Official reports on security and safety of pilgrims were reassuring with no single incident marring security of pilgrims was reported.
