The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned strongly today the terrorist bombings that took place in Iraq on Sunday, which led to the killing and wounding of many innocent victims. In a statement, the OIC Secretary General, Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu stressed the importance of adherence to Makkah Document for the year 2006, which was patronized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to renounce violence and extremism in Iraq, pointing to the need for holding a second meeting of Makkah Document in Baghdad soon.
