Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, President of Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) has emphasized the utmost importance of activating health national plans and policies issued in recent years on non-communicable diseases in Gulf region, Arab world, and Middle East. The Prince said in a statement on the occasion of the Kingdom's hosting of International Conference on Healthy Lifestyles and Communicable Diseases in Arab world and Middle East on Sunday that AGFUND has adopted over the past years the resolutions of Health Ministers Council of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, the Council of Arab Health Ministers and the World Health Organization to develop and support health education programs within the framework of GCC plan which has been supported by AGFUND with a sum of $ 300,000.
