Consultative Group Meeting of Donors For Yemen Resumes Sessions

The Consultative Group Meeting of Donors to support the Republic of Yemen resumed its sessions here today.
Three sessions were held this morning. They gathered more than 35 representatives from the private sector, humanitarian organizations and civil society involved in providing humanitarian aid to the Republic of Yemen.
The participants also included the Saudi Fund for Development, the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the Yemeni government, and the World Bank.
The sessions dealt with discussions on the humanitarian situation in Yemen, the role of the private sector in supporting projects in Yemen and the role of non-governmental organizations in providing assistance to Yemen.
