Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, said "We thank God Almighty for the great success of Makkah Extraordinary Islamic Solidarity Summit due to God's Grace and then, to the generous response of the leaders of the Islamic nation to the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to this Summit to study the conditions of the Islamic nation under the current crucial situations," In a press statement following the conclusion of the Islamic Solidarity Summit this evening, he added: "Undoubtedly, this success is reflected through the principles agreed upon by the leaders in each of the Makkah Charter and the Summit's final communiqué and resolutions which were keen to promote the Islamic solidarity, deepen the march of joint action and address the common challenges faced by the nation, topped by religious, sectarian and ethnic strives". The Deputy Foreign Minister also said that "The summit praised and adopted the initiative put forward by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to establish a center for dialogue among Muslim sects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia". He made clear that the documents and resolutions of the summit were distributed and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and OIC Secretary General will highlight them in the closing press conference of the summit.
