Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Akbar Salehi commended the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for holding Islamic Solidarity Summit in Makkah on Tuesday and Wednesday, stressing that the call for the summit came at an appropriate time to unite the ranks of Islamic nations and confirm cohesion among them, wishing that the Summit will yield concrete results for the interest of Islamic nations. In a press statement at the Conference Palace in Jeddah yesterday evening, he said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a sacred country, wishing Saudi Government and people all success, glory and peace. He said, "Yesterday, I learnt that Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is at hospital and I visited him, wishing him a speedy recovery".
