At its extraordinary session resumed at the ministerial level, which was held last night in Doha, Qatar under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Arab League (AL) Council welcomed the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for holding an extraordinary Islamic summit on 26th and 27th of Ramadan (August 14/15, 2012) in Makkah. In a communiqué issued by AL at the end of its meeting in Doha and distributed by its Secretariat in Cairo today, the Arab League Council commended the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques as a valuable opportunity to Islamic re-cohesion and solidarity in these exceptional circumstances.
