A police officer has been wounded in a car explosion in Buinaksk, Dagestan, an official of the press centre of the Russian Interior Ministry said. The explosion took place at about 7:30 MSK in Gorky Street. "According to preliminary data, an explosive device went off under the district policeman's car. As a result, the police office was wounded and rushed to hospital," Itar-Tass quoted the ministry official as saying. An investigative team has been working at the scene to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
