The Saudi National Campaign to Support Brothers in Syria dispatched today the first relief convoy to help the Syrian brothers in Jordan, the Campaign's Executive Director Mubarak bin Saeed Al-Bakr said. "The relief convoy consists of 43 trucks loaded with various foodstuffs and in-kind materials. The campaign formed a working group to escort the convoy and supervise the distribution process. However, coordination will be made with the concerned authorities in Jordan to facilitate the convoy's entry and to develop a program for relief distribution to the Syrian camps in Jordan," Al-Bakr said. Al-Bakr emphasized that dispatching this relief convoy comes in continuation of the humanitarian role played by the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards Muslims in times of crisis.
