A convoy composed of ten trucks loaded with foodstuffs, medicine, and children's milk was dispatched yesterday by the OIC Department of Humanitarian Affairs to provide relief to the Palestinian people suffering under the siege imposed by Israel. The convoy set off from the Jordanian capital, Amman, in coordination with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization, according to a press release issued Tuesday by the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC). Distribution of relief supplies will be conducted in cooperation with the Agency for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees 'UNRWA'. The OIC Islamic Solidarity Fund contributed to the convoy together with a number of companies and institutions from Saudi Arabia. The convoy was dispatched in cooperation and coordination with the Saudi Red Crescent Society.
