President Mohamed Morsi of the Arab Republic of Egypt hailed his meeting with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud as a fruitful and constructive meeting serving the interests of Egypt and Saudi Arabia and the two brotherly peoples as well as the peoples of the region. In a statement to reporters after the meeting yesterday, President Morsi said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques spoke for the future, the region and Egypt. He said the king is wise and greatly admires the people of Egypt. The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt said he has been keen on visiting the kingdom due to its Islamic high status and the strong Saudi-Egyptian relations. The president hailed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and stressed the importance of the stability of the region, Egypt, the Gulf and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The president highlighted his meeting with Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, yesterday evening. For his part, Prince Salman answered a question about the future relations between the two countries saying that President Mohamed Morsi's remarks expresses the opinion of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom and the Saudi people.
