The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah today a number of newly-appointed Saudi ambassadors-designate to a number of friendly countries. They are Hisham bin Sultan bin Zafer Al-Gahtani, ambassador-designate to Brazil; Adnan bin Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Mandeel, ambassador-designate to Gabon; and Saeed bin Hasan Al-Jamee'a, ambassador-designate to Cuba. They took oath before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, swearing to remain loyal to the religion, king and nation, not to divulge any of the State's secrets, and fulfill the job with the most possible honesty, faithfulness and dedication. For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques advised them to remain dedicated to the service of the people of Saudi Arabia, and their religion and nation. The ambassadors thanked the monarch for the royal confidence he bestowed on them, vowing to follow His advice. The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense; and Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
