Qa'dah 16, 1431 / Oct. 24, 2010, SPA -- Saudi Ambassadors-designate to a number of brotherly and friendly countries took the oath of office before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at his office at the Royal Court at Al-Yamamah Palace here today. They were Abdulbaqi bin Ahmed Ajlan, Saudi Ambassador-designate to Ethiopia; Bandar bin Mohammed Mahmoud, Saudi Ambassador-designate to Tajikistan; Dr. Jamal bin Abdulaziz Rafa, Saudi Ambassador-designate to Uganda; Talal bin Mohammed Sabri, Saudi Ambassador-designate to Myanmar; and Nahedh bin Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, Saudi Ambassador-designate to Mali. "We swear by Allah Almighty to be faithful to the religion, and then to our King and homeland, tell no secret of the state secrets, and to protect its interests and regulations, and that we will perform our work with utmost truthfulness, honesty and sincerity," they said. The King sent his greetings to the leaders of the countries to which they were designated, urging the ambassadors to work on enhancing relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the brotherly and friendly countries to which they were designated. The ambassadors thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the royal trust bestowed on them. The audience was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; and a number of officials.
