Directors General of Customs of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States held here today their first meeting of Customs Union Commission under the chairmanship of Director General of Saudi Customs Saleh Al-Khelawi. Addressing the meeting, Al-Khelawi said that the GCC leaders decided at their 32nd meeting held in Riyadh in December 2011 the establishment of the Customs Union Commission and its authorization of the completion of the requirements of the Customs Union of the GCC states to transfer them from a cooperation stage to a union stage.
